This release for all Radeon family products updates the ATI Display Driver to version 8.082. The unified driver has been further enhanced to provide the highest level of power, performance, and reliability. The driver supports 24 languages. Release 4.12 provides improved Half-Life 2 performance of up to 20% over Catalyst 4.11 in certain sections of the game. New features include improved driver efficiency for Drect3D and OpenGL games and Overdrive 3.0, which allows users to manually set the graphic and memory clocks, while still protecting users from causing damage to their graphic cards.
