The GroupCalendar add-in monitors the private Outlook calendar and writes changes to a database on a network share. If Exchange Server is used and a public folder is set as the Group Calendar, the changes are visible in real-time. If no Exchange Server is available, a subfolder of the private calendar will serve as the GroupCalendar. In that case a synchronization utility runs from the systemtray to synchronize the GroupCalender with the database that holds all appointments of the co-workers. Standard Outlook views and filters can be used to show the appoinments grouped by the newly added field 'department' or by standard Outlook fields. Version 1.6.74 is more robust and has an additinal real-time view that can be used to filter the available information...
