PikNix Application Distribution - Live CD version of YOUR software.

This is a service where we master a LiveCD with your own application(s). No installation for the customers. Ready to boot and run. If your application runs in a Linux or LAMP environment then we can engineer and support a LiveCD distribution for you.

We will work with you through every step of the process of mastering and support of a live CD version of your software product or application.

Mastering

This is the initial installation of your software onto our base PikNix platform to produce a bootable CD version of your product.

License Management

Optionally, included in the PikNix platform is the ability to supply/sell license keys for the CDs. The CD system can be set to check it's license upon each boot. Through a database that we will assist in setting up you can manage all licenses and software use.

Infrastructure Upgrades

We can periodically master a new CD image with upgraded system software (kernel, security patches, library upgrades etc.) underlying your application. A software upgrade for your customers becomes the simple matter of you sending them a new CD to boot from.
