Encryption Workshop includes file and folder encryption and decryption tool. Currently nine strong symmetrical block ciphers are implemented: BLOWFISH, GOST, RC 4, DES, Skipjack, TWOFISH, TEA and XOR. Any type of file can be encrypted/decrypted, not only ZIP files. If working with ZIP archives you might want to consider using encryption rather than password protection - it is much safer.

Review by Ben Johson: Why 4 stars? Definitely a 5 star product. Free, cool and works flawlessly. YOu need PSM Encryptor to encrypt and disguise (I got it from their site). This freeware is for keys and decryption only, but it's a real time saver and fun to use. The demo of the encryption tool has no time limit and it's very powerful. Review by Bob Barnes: I like Private Pix because it loads fast and works well for looking through my collection of digital photos. I don't really use the encryption stuff very much, I just like it as a plain image viewer. It doesn't have enough hotkeys, though. I wish there were better keyboard controls for fullscreen mode, but it's not a big issue. Overall, a very nice program! (4/5 - 19-Jul-2007)
Review by Chris Smith: I love this program! The magnifying glass is pretty cool and the autoplay slideshow feature is perfect for just relaxing and having fun with my pics. The encryption is easy to use and doesn't require a lot of fiddling around. Probably the best feature is hidden folders. I love being able to keep my pics hidden from my girlfriend!
