Encryption Workshop includes file and folder encryption and decryption tool. Currently nine strong symmetrical block ciphers are implemented: BLOWFISH, GOST, RC 4, DES, Skipjack, TWOFISH, TEA and XOR. Any type of file can be encrypted/decrypted, not only ZIP files. If working with ZIP archives you might want to consider using encryption rather than password protection - it is much safer.

Advanced File Calculator is a cryptographic hash calculation software. Simply drag and drop files in this calculator and hash string for the files will be immideately displayed. Supported cryptographic hash calculation algorithms include CRC32, GOST hash, MD2, MD4,MD5, SHA-1, HA2 (256), SHA2 (384), SHA2 (512). You may copy the hash string for a single file or export the full list of hash strings in a text file.

Active@ ERASER supports a variety of sanitation standards, from simple methods such as One Pass Zero to the military-grade DoD 5220.22-M, to even more sophisticated methods such as Gutmann's. You can erase files, folders, CD-RW discs, logical drives, and entire physical drives. The program also wipes out deleted files and cleans the tracks of your Internet and local activities, such as cookies and temporary files.
