Web Log Mixer is a GUI/command line utility which helps you to combine log files generated by the web server into a single log file. Source log files can be generated either by a single web server or by different web servers in the load balancing environment. The program understands log files compressed with zip, gzip or bzip2 and can compress destination log file with gzip or bzip2.

Supports text searching, date-restricted searching, version resource searching. Files found can be opened, viewed and extracted. ZipScan can extract both Microsoft and InstallShield CAB files. ZipScan supports CLASSPATH searching to find .class files.

Zlib is a free general-purpose data-compression library. Integrity checks performed with the CRC-32 or the ADLER 32 checksums. In-memory operations use the zlib compressed data format (RFC 1950). Deflate (RFC 1951) is used for its compression algorithm. Typical compression ratios are between 2:1 and 5:1. The gzip format, RFC 1952, is supported for compressing files on a file system. Lacks support for PKZip 4.5, BZip2, and Deflate64.
