M8 Freeclips is the simplest of all multi-clipboard programs. Just have it running minimized and it captures everything you cut or copy from other programs. It keeps the last 30 clips. When you want to paste one back, all you have to do is restore M8 and click on the clip you want. When you move the mouse over the clips, you can see them in the viewer. If the clip is text, you see several lines and if it is a graphic, you see a thumbnail.

MultiClipBoard is a utility, which can hold an unlimited number of clipboards helping you copy and paste in any application under Windows.
MultiClipBoard can hold text, formatted text, pictures etc. Their contents will be saved when closing MultiClipBoard and restored when reopening it.
An undo and a clear feature for each clipboard is provided.
Every button will show its content as a hint.
MultiClipBoard can be sent to the system tray.

Review by David Wheeler: This clipboard actually works and works well. I tried three others and they only worked if the clips were text or single pictures. Whenever I copied from a Word document and the clip contained text and pictures. They pasted back the text but only showed placeholder boxes where the pictures should have been. This clipboard was the only one that pasted back the entire clip.
I'd also like to say that, although I got it purely for saving document inserts, I have been very impressed by the myriad of other little things it does as a bonus. For example, every week, I have to copy documentation to a proof reader's folder and send her a list of the file names. Typing out the file names is a real pain. Typing something youve typed before? Searching for that graphic file, web address or phone number you know you have somewhere? You need 101 Clips. No other multi clipboard offers 101's unique clip cataloging system. You can catalog by group, favourites, alphabetic or arranged order and with or without color highlighting. There is even a search facility which will find text both in the names you give to your clips and in the clips themselves.
