This java progress bar component enables you to add a progress indicator in your java applications or web applications with just a few lines of code. The progress bar can be fitted in any space and labels and colors can be configured. The progress bar is compatible with JDK 1.02 and newer so it runs in older web browsers such as Internet Explorer 3.0 and Netscape 3.0 as well as the newest browsers. The footprint is only 4KB and its free.

Review by KUpload+ with AJAX: KUpload+ is already a very good upload product. It is so far the simplest yet effective tool I have ever used. It has many good points such as a fully AJAX based Progress Bar, it allows uploading huge files with file sizes in Gbs. This is one product I would definitely want to recommend to everybody. Review by KUpload+ with an AJAX Progress B: Unlike the previous progress bar, this one displays various status information about the current upload using an inline progress bar with AJAX technology. It is fully compatibly with .NET 2.0 & Visual Studio 2005. I would just like to say that compared to other uploading component's progress bar this one is relatively better. Cheap & less time consuming with precise status display. (5/5 - 5-Feb-2007)

One of the Vista Operating System features is progress bars in My Computer that show disk space used for each drive and partition. Vista Drives adds this feature to Windows 95 through XP and the ability to change the icons to the new Vista style for all drives including floppy, CD/DVD and removable types. You can see how much space is used at a glance and once it exceeds 80% the bar color will change to red to let you know it's running low
