AppToService is a Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 Unicode console application that lets you run regular applications and servers as Windows services. This allows you to have some of the benefits of a Windows service, such as the ability to run an application even when no user is logged on the computer, the ability to run an application under a specified user account, and the ability to allow an application to survive logoff/logon sequences.

AlwaysUp runs your application as a Windows Service, monitoring it constantly to ensure 100% uptime. It will automatically restart your application if it crashes, hangs, or uses too much memory, dismiss "Application error" dialogs, and run customized "sanity checks" to ensure that your application is available 24/7. Regular, detailed email from AlwaysUp will keep you abreast of crashes, scheduled restarts and other relevant events.

FireDaemon is a system utility that allows you to install and run any 32-bit or 64-bit application or script (BAT CMD, .NET, Perl, Java, Python, TCL TK) as a Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista service. FireDaemon features easy service configuration via the GUI or command line, a low memory and CPU overhead, subprocess prioritization, custom environments, CPU binding plus monitoring and logging to the event log and on-disk log files.
