dbExpress is database-independent layer that defines a common interface to provide fast access to SQL database servers. For each supported server, dbExpress provides a driver as an independent library. dbExpress driver for InterBase (DbxIda) provides access to IB, Firebird and Yaffil databases. It directly uses InterBase client software fo server connection. DbxIda supports InterBase from version 5.x and up, Firebird 2.x, 1.x versions and Yaffil.

Database Comparer VCL (DBC VCL) compares and synchronizes databases structure (metadata) and table data for many popular databases. Currently supported databases: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, InterBase (FireBird, Yaffil), Sybase, Postgre SQL. Most popular database engines such as ADO, BDE supported directly. Also database specific libraries such as IBX, FIB, IBO, ZEOS, AnyDAC etc supported as well.

IBDAC is a VCL/VCL.NET/CLX component library for fast direct access to InterBase, Firebird, and Yaffil servers from Delphi, C++Builder, and Kylix. Includes full support for server data types and comprehensive functionality coverage.
